Third-Party Licenses Policy

POLYGUNPLAY™ respects the work of third-party developers, open-source communities, software creators, and technology providers.

This Third-Party Licenses Policy identifies certain third-party software and tools used in the creation, development, or distribution of POLYGUNPLAY products.

Use of third-party software does not transfer ownership of POLYGUNPLAY intellectual property.

  1. Definitions

    For purposes of this Policy:

    "POLYGUNPLAY™"

    Means the independent game development brand operating under the POLYGUNPLAY name, including its games, software, websites, services, intellectual property, and related materials.

    "Third-Party Software"

    Means software, tools, libraries, engines, frameworks, or technology created and owned by parties other than POLYGUNPLAY™.

    "POLYGUNPLAY Content"

    Means original creative works created by POLYGUNPLAY™, including:

    • Source code.

    • Game code.

    • Gameplay systems.

    • Art assets.

    • Models.

    • Textures.

    • Animations.

    • Audio.

    • Designs.

    • Characters.

    • Worlds.

    • Levels.

    • Branding.

    • Marketing materials.

    "License"

    Means the legal terms under which third-party software is provided by its owner or developer.

  2. Ownership of POLYGUNPLAY Original Content

    Third-party tools used during development do not grant ownership of POLYGUNPLAY content to those third parties.

    POLYGUNPLAY™ retains ownership of its original creative works, including:

    • Game designs.

    • Programming code created by POLYGUNPLAY.

    • Characters.

    • Environments.

    • Models.

    • Textures.

    • Animations.

    • Visual effects.

    • Audio.

    • Music.

    • Story elements.

    • Branding.

    • Promotional materials.

  3. Godot Engine

    POLYGUNPLAY™ games are developed using the Godot Engine.

    Godot Engine is developed and maintained by the Godot community and is provided under its applicable open-source license.

    POLYGUNPLAY™ acknowledges the work of the Godot Engine contributors.

    Use of Godot Engine does not mean:

    • Godot owns POLYGUNPLAY games.

    • Godot owns POLYGUNPLAY assets.

    • Godot has rights to POLYGUNPLAY branding.

    • POLYGUNPLAY games are official Godot products.

    Godot Engine is a development tool used to create POLYGUNPLAY products.

    All original POLYGUNPLAY creative content remains the property of POLYGUNPLAY™.

  4. Blender

    POLYGUNPLAY™ uses Blender for certain aspects of digital content creation.

    Blender is developed by the Blender Foundation and the Blender community.

    Blender is used as a creation tool and does not claim ownership of:

    • POLYGUNPLAY models.

    • POLYGUNPLAY environments.

    • POLYGUNPLAY animations.

    • POLYGUNPLAY renders.

    • POLYGUNPLAY game assets.

    Assets created by POLYGUNPLAY using Blender remain the intellectual property of POLYGUNPLAY™ unless otherwise stated.

  5. Aseprite

    POLYGUNPLAY™ uses Aseprite for certain pixel art and image editing workflows.

    Aseprite is developed by Igara Studio S.A.

    Aseprite is a creative tool used to produce original POLYGUNPLAY artwork.

    Use of Aseprite does not grant ownership of:

    • POLYGUNPLAY sprites.

    • Pixel art.

    • Textures.

    • Images.

    • Animations.

    Original artwork created by POLYGUNPLAY remains owned by POLYGUNPLAY™.

  1. No Transfer of Rights

    Use of third-party development tools does not create any ownership interest in POLYGUNPLAY products.

    Third-party software providers do not obtain:

    • Copyright ownership.

    • Trademark rights.

    • Distribution rights.

    • Commercial rights.

    • Licensing rights.

    Unless required by an applicable license agreement, POLYGUNPLAY retains all rights to its original content.

  2. Third-Party Software Does Not Represent Endorsement

    The inclusion of third-party software acknowledgments does not imply:

    • Sponsorship.

    • Partnership.

    • Official endorsement.

    • Ownership relationship.

    POLYGUNPLAY™ independently develops and publishes its products.

  3. Open Source and Third-Party Components

    If POLYGUNPLAY™ incorporates additional third-party software, libraries, plugins, or components in the future, applicable notices and licenses may be added to this Policy or included with the relevant product documentation.

    Each third-party component remains subject to its own license terms.

  4. User Responsibility

    Users may not assume that third-party tools used by POLYGUNPLAY provide permission to:

    • Copy POLYGUNPLAY assets.

    • Extract game files.

    • Reuse POLYGUNPLAY content.

    • Create derivative commercial works.

    • Claim ownership of POLYGUNPLAY creations.

    Third-party software licenses do not override POLYGUNPLAY intellectual property protections.

  5. Compliance With Third-Party Licenses

    POLYGUNPLAY™ intends to comply with applicable licenses governing third-party tools used in development.

    Where required, POLYGUNPLAY may provide:

    • Attribution notices.

    • License information.

    • Source availability information.

    • Additional legal notices.

  6. Future Additions

    POLYGUNPLAY™ may use additional third-party technologies in the future, including:

    • Software libraries.

    • Middleware.

    • Development tools.

    • Audio tools.

    • Hosting services.

    • Online service providers.

    • Distribution platforms.

    Additional notices may be added as necessary.

  7. Changes to This Policy

    POLYGUNPLAY™ may update this Third-Party Licenses Policy when:

    • New tools are used.

    • Licensing requirements change.

    • Products change.

    • Legal requirements require updates.

    The current version will be maintained through official POLYGUNPLAY channels.

  9. Acceptance

    BY USING POLYGUNPLAY PRODUCTS OR SERVICES, YOU ACKNOWLEDGE THAT THIRD-PARTY TECHNOLOGIES MAY BE USED IN THEIR CREATION AND THAT SUCH TECHNOLOGIES REMAIN SUBJECT TO THEIR OWN LICENSE TERMS.

    ALL ORIGINAL POLYGUNPLAY CONTENT REMAINS THE PROPERTY OF POLYGUNPLAY™.
